Due to the Coronavirus, the church building will be closed until further notice. We are a congregation, we are the Body of Christ, and we will still be there for each other. We will have our services on Facebook live at 10:30 am on Sunday and Wednesday at 6:30 pm prayer and a short word. We will upload the sermons on the church website as well. Stay connected to Christ, with each other, through prayer, through phone calls, and technology. If you are in need of something and we can help, let us know. Stay safe and remember that God is in control.

Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.
Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
— Psalms 96:1 NIV
Music is a gift from God and it is designed to be used to bring Him glory.
For Linda Barfield, our music ministry leader, music has always been a big part of her life.
She’s married to her high school sweetheart, Howard, and she’s a mother and a grandmother. She incorporates a mix of music genres that appeal to everyone’s personal taste of music.
The Music Ministry is always looking for additional persons who have a heart for worship and a commitment to serve God and the church.
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
- 1 Timothy 4:12 NIV
All youth classes and events at Aiken Assembly of God are dedicated to building God's Kingdom one child at a time. She is a wife, mother, teacher, caregiver, role model and mentor. Everything she does is centered around pouring into the lives of young people from all walks of life.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
- Ephesians 2:10 NIV
The purpose of the Outreach Ministry at First Assembly of God is to prepare our congregation members to go and do great things in the name of Jesus so that all might see, hear and experience God’s love.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
- Mark 16:15 NIV
The Evangelism Ministry answers God’s call to reach and touch the lives of those who may not know that God loves them and that He has a plan for them. In love and with action, we’re building relationships with each other and with God.
L.I.F.T. - LADIES IN FELLOWSHIP TOGETHER
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
-Matthew 18:20 NIV
The purpose of L.I.F.T., Ladies in Fellowship Together, is to help Christian ladies to connect within the body of Christ for fellowship, encouragement, spiritual growth and prayer.
For Monica Barfield, our Women's Ministry leader, to meet and to pray with other Christian women is important for the development of our faith and our relationship with God.
Spending time with other Sisters in Christ can lift us up and encourage us to keep our eyes on God.
